It will tell us your balance age and compare the relative contributions of the visual, vestibular and proprioceptive systems in maintaining balance.

 

Q3 How long is a consultation?

The test takes only 5-10 minutes to complete

 

Q4 What is involved in a consultation?

Standing on a balance platform on both hard and soft surfaces with both eyes opened and closed for about 30 seconds.

Results can guide future management strategies to improve outcomes.

 

Q6 How Many Pondera Posturography Screens do I need?

Tests will be performed during your initial consultation and during subsequent review consultations to monitor your progress.

This test is not covered by private health insurance at this stage.
